While walking around Seoul Forest, I found myself captivated by the many shadows cast by the trees. The various shapes and lengths of the shadows seemed to create a type of dance, one which was performed by entities unseen. Mesmerized by the figures created by the shadows, I wondered if this was how a shadow dance by playful tree spirits might appear. Seeking to portray this scene from the forest, Hidden Tree Spirits slowly transitions from a shy, spacious opening to an exuberant and energetic dance.
