Terraforming

Terraforming is the process of manipulating the atmosphere, temperature, and ecology of a planet to force it to resemble Earth. This process, of course, is hypothetical and has yet to be implemented, but the concept does pose the question: is it ethical for humans to occupy another planet? The primary purpose for terraforming would be to colonize another planet, likely as a result of our home planet becoming inhospitable. Terraforming explores the process and philosophical ramifications of this hypothetical issue.
